Photographing Ospreys in the Rutland Area

In June I set my self a task of Photographing an Osprey in the act of Fishing, not too an easy feat but very possible. After quite a lot of research I settled for a venue in Rutland as Rutland Water does seem to have the largest population of Adult Ospreys in the UK.

Needless to say Photographing these wonderful Birds of Prey is a steep learning curve and they don't always play ball and as always there are quite a few variables. But in the end  it did all pay off . For more Osprey images please check out my website.www.biggsphotography.co.uk
