Patiently Waiting for a Kingfisher
I recently spent a few hours at my local patch it's known as Venus Pool. Apparently there is a Kingfisher that puts in an appearance most evenings so I thought I'd try and Photograph the lucky fellow. My chosen equipment for the evening was a Canon EOS 7D MK1, Sigma 100-300mm F4 and a Sigma 1.4 EX DG Convertor. I'd be shooting from a hide using a Bean Bag support, manual settings but utilising Auto ISO which I'm now a great fan of. I think that it's a game changer, brilliant as I can adjust the Shutter Speed and Aperture without having to worry about ISO which in my opinion is a real deal breaker. I find Auto Iso really uesful in the early mornings and late evenings.
