This is a two day event that is free to enter and allows access to all areas as a general member of the public which is great for Photography. Cyclo-cross is one of those events that does pose a creative challenge to photographers. In my opinion you are faced with two choices do you freeze the action which is a relatively easy option or do you opt for a very low shutter speed to create the impression that there is motion and activity within the event. The great thing about this type of event is that it does give you the time to experiment with a variety of shutter speeds and exposures and photographic styles.
